Carri is a Chinese-Canadian writer and director who describes herself as an extroverted introvert. She loves observing a busy room, much like she appreciates an intentional mise-en-scène and clever foreshadowing.

 

She strives to champion stories by crafting beautiful and authentic memories on the page. Her work aims to give a voice to understated immigrant parents who have grappled with language barriers, providing them with a vessel to tell their tales.
